John Latour is a visual artist who lives and works in Montreal, Canada. He has a BFA in Studio Art (University of Ottawa), a MLIS (McGill University) and a MA in Art History (Concordia University). Solo exhibitions of his work have been held in Alberta, Ontario, Quebec and London (UK), and he has participated in group exhibitions in Canada and abroad. He has received artist grants from the Canada Council for the Arts, the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec and the Ontario Arts Council. He is a member of the art research group Elastic 3D Spaces. His work is found in numerous private collections as well as the Hallmark Fine Art Collection (Kansas City), the Fine Art Collection of the City of Ottawa, and The Tom Thomson Art Gallery (Owen Sound).

Il est titulaire d’un baccalauréat en arts visuels (Université d’Ottawa), d’une maîtrise en bibliothéconomie (Université McGill) et d’une maîtrise en histoire de l’art (Université Concordia).
